Professional Biography

Tarani Chandola is Professor of Medical Sociology. He joined CCSR in April 2010 and was formerly at the UCL Research Department of Epidemiology and Public Health. His research is primarily on the social determinants of health, focussing on health inequalities and psychosocial factors, and the analysis of longitudinal cohort studies, He is a member of the Social Statistics committee of the Royal Statistical Society and will be co-director of Methods@Manchester.
