PhD Project:

The Secularization Debate: an examination of evidence of changes in religious affiliation, belief and attendance in developed nations

 
Biographical Information:

After completing a Masters in Statistics at Manchester University, I worked for two years in Manchesters Department of Psychiatry before starting a PhD at the Cathie Marsh Centre in September 2006. I am funded as a +3 ESRC student.

I graduated from Leeds University with a Maths Degree and worked until 2003 in administration, financial services and as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language. As a Research Assistant in Psychiatry, I worked on an epidemiological study of stillbirth and infant death in offspring of people with psychiatric inpatient histories in Denmark.


Teaching:

In addition to my research, I work as a tutor on the Introduction to Quantitative Methods course at CCSR.
