Re-examining ethnic geographies: Inequality and the neighbourhood context
Biographical Information:
I joined CCSR in 2004 as a part time student on the MSc Social Research Methods and Statistics Programme whilst also working at Stockport Council as a Policy and Research Officer. Having worked in local government for 5 years I became a full time member of CCSR in September 2006 as a doctoral student.
Research Interests:
- Socio-economic inequalities for ethnic minorities in the UK
- The historical political context of segregation in the UK
- The meaning and measurement of segregation/ integration/assimilation
- The meaning of space, place and ethnic minority geographies
- The use of both quantitative and qualitative research methods
