Margaret Martin joined CCSR in November 1993 as administrative assistant to the centre. Her role has been a varied and responsible position covering the short course programme, finance management and postgraduate administration for the MSc/Pg Diploma in Social Research Methods and Statistics, and CCSR's PhD programme. Her current position is now as the Centre Administrator, covering areas such as Research Administration, Finance and Budget Management and as line manager to the Short Course Administrator and overseeing all other administrative staff. Margaret is also PA to Professor Ian Plewis, Director of the Social Statistics Discipline, and the Director of CCSR, Professor James Nazroo.
