PhD Project:

Computational methods for optimising the utility of social survey data

 
Biographical Information:

John is a Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society and holds a BSc (hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Royal Holloway College.

Throughout his working life, John has always promoted joint academic and industrial project collaboration, working with the University of Kent, Birkbeck College, the University of Reading, the University of Leeds and Insead.  During his time at Bank of Scotland, he worked closely with UMIST on the EC funded High Performance Banking (HyperBank) project.  Since then he has maintained close contact with UMIST and subsequently the University of Manchester.
