Biographical Information:
Educated at the University of Central Lancashire, Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Manchester. Construction manager for large UK building contractor, followed by research work at several universities.
Research interests:
- Highly Structured Stochastic Systems
- Bayesian methods
- Inference algorithms and model determination for Bayesian Belief Networks
- Statistical disclosure control
Current research:
- Measurement of disclosure risk for single and linked tables of census data
- Table suppression methods and information loss
- Statistical analysis of perturbed data
- Software development for statistical disclosure control
