- End User Licence Files are available free of charge to all users from October 2011. However, any user of these files must first register.
- A short guide to mapping the SARs using the free online tool, Google Fusion Tables
- A document is now available that lists the changes made to the specifications for the 2011 SARs since the SARs user meeting on 28 January 2011 in London.
- The latest SARs Newsletter, Issue 32 - May 2011, is now available.
- Census 2011: impact and potential - a two-day conference, organised by the ESRC Census Programme, which will showcase the research potential of the 2011 data by users of the full range of aggregate and microdata census outputs.
- A document summarising the comments we have received from experts in response to the consultation on the 2011 SARs is now available in PDF format.
- The SARs User Meeting took place on 28 January 2011. Slides from the meeting are available.
- The guide to using the SARs in SPSS has been updated.
- A new SARs health guide gives an overview of using the SARs for research on health.
- Consultation on the 2011 SARs has now begun.
