2001 Individual Licensed SAR

The licensed version of the Individual SAR has now been agreed with ONS and will be released to CCSR by early October. This licensed SAR has been designed to be used flexibly on your own PC, without the need to check your outputs to ensure that they do not breach respondents' confidentiality. To enable this some variables have been broad-banded to reduce detail. A final specification of this file is available here.

If you are an academic user, the file will be available for download from the web once you have registered with the Census Registration Service. If you have registered here already there is no need to re-register.

There will also be a more detailed version of the same SARs file available in house at ONS. The details of the In House file are available separately.
