2001 Individual InHouse SAR

There will a more detailed version of the public use SARs file available in-house at ONS. Initially this data will only be available at ONS, Titchfield. Later we hope it will be available at Drummond Gate, London and other NSI sites in the UK.

The In-house dataset will be more detailed than the released version. Initially the data is available (version 1) with full ethnic group information (16 categories), age in single years to 95, SOC minor, and 60 categories of industry. This file will also contain details of local authority and the Index of Multiple deprivation. A codebook for the data currently held at ONS Titchfield is available here

We are also working towards a rather fuller version of this file that retains all the detail in the original request to ONS in September 2001. A file which sets out this specification is available here. This will be updated as we get more information.
