Codebook

A codebook for the Special Licence Household SAR is available in PDF format.

H-CAMS

A Controlled Access Microdata version (CAMS) of the Household SAR is also available and this contains data for Scotland and Northern Ireland, as well as England and Wales. As with the Individual CAMS file, potential users should make an application to ONS to use the data at one of their sites.

Please note that further work is to be undertaken to add key variables to these files.  A generation indicator is to be added to the household CAM.  Relationship matrix variables should also be made available for both versions.

This page contains information from users who have downloaded the 2001 Household SAR data and who have agreed to have their project information shared. You can opt to be included or to amend the details held for you by changing your project registration.

SARs Meta Data

These files are the SARs documentation in XML DDI format, as used internally in our Nesstar server. Most users will not find these useful and would be better looking at the documentation or dataset pages rather than this raw metadata.
