Derived Variables for the 2001 SARs

We have compiled some recodes which allow comparison with equivalent information in other datasets.

The areas covered are currently

• Country of Birth
• SOC
• NS-SEC, SEG and RGClass
• Ethnicity

Similar derived variables for the Government surveys may be provided by ESDS Government.
