Expanding and Increasing Access to a Programme of Quantitative Methods Training

Within CCSR:

Social Research Methods and Statistics .
CCSR offers PhD supervision, with some financial support for eligible students.
PhD and staff presentations about WERG.
CCSR short courses.

This primarily covers the programmes of support for the SARs and ESDS Government. It's broad range of activities include research to assess the optimal specification for microdata samples, negotiating with ONS methods of access to microdata, and the development of resource and teaching materials. Many members of CCSR are involved in these projects.
