Description

This unit provides a basic introduction to the use and interpretation of logistic regression as a method of measuring the impact of one or more explanatory variables on a dependent (binary) variable

Objectives

• demonstrate a basic understanding of logistic regression and how it differs from linear regression
• understand the meaning of odds as a way of expressing the likelihood of as event or outcome
• be able to interpret the basic output from a logistic regression model
