SUMMER SCHOOLS

Each QMSS 2 summer school lasts for approximately eight days and combine lectures with hands-on training, often using European comparative datasets. The summer schools also include guest lectures from international experts.

The final summer school will take place in 2012 and the call for participants is now closed.

Surveying immigrants and minorities

27 June - 4 July 2012, Paris, France

Two summer schools were held in 2011, organised by the cross-national comparisons theme and the social interactions theme.

Four summer schools were held in 2010. Three were under the themes of lifecourse, cross-national comparisons and survey design and survey quality, whilst the fourth was a summer school in "R".

Three summer schools were held in 2009, under the themes of lifecourse, social interactions and immigration and population.
