SUMMER SCHOOLS

Four summer schools are being held in 2010. Three are under the themes of lifecourse, cross-national comparisons and survey design and survey quality, whilst the fourth is a summer school in "R".

• Advanced methods for the analysis of complex event history data
• Methodological aspects of the use of composite scores in cross-cultural research
• Understanding survey quality
• Summer school in "R"

Each summer school lasts for approximately eight days and combine lectures with hands-on training, often using European comparative datasets. The summer schools also include guest lectures from international experts.
