Work session I
Survey Process Quality for 3m Surveys
(3m – Multi-Cultural, Multi-National & Multi-Regional)
The development of important international projects change the attention given to the quality of data and imply to look more carefully to all aspects of the data production process.
Question: does the literature either look at the different aspects of data quality in one context or play with the multinational, multicultural aspects – but not simultaneously?
Question: are there examples for overall process quality control?
Question: are there examples for rigorous input (design) quality controls and what are examples for sustainable output (field work, measurement) controls?
Question: is the introduction of new techniques (mixed mode, internet, link to register, etc.) susceptible to modify the question of data quality and the way to monitor it? |

Work Session II
Preparing 2009 Workshop on Quality and Methods for 3m Surveys
The Seminar will be a five-day event heavy with training and teaching.
We have to prepare a teaching session next year that is not only designed for the "data producer" but also the "data user".
How to take into account the methodological side and how to interest these future users.
Which courses must we organize? |
