The aim of the first annual seminar arranged by the QMSS2 Lifecourse group was to bring together leading European scientists and promising young researchers who are using cutting-edge quantitative methods to examine labour market participation and social exclusion processes.

Examples of topics covered are school-to-work transitions, labour supply and retirement behaviour, unemployment, social exclusion, assimilation of immigrants, and social mobility.
