Development: during 2011, a POPGROUP Data Module was released for subnational projections in England and in Wales (details). During 2012, a similar Data Module for Scotland will be provided. This page describes availability of data from the subnational projections for England.
Districts in a County - Population projections data, 2008 based projections. England only.
1. Mid-year populations 2008 and each year to 2033, by age and sex.
2. Births by sex, and deaths by age and sex, 2008-09 and each year to 2032-33.
3. Each migrant flow in-, out-, and net- by age and sex (Internal within England, International
rest of UK, International Rest of World, International Asylum seekers and Visitor Switchers,
International total, All migration total), 2008-09, and each year up to 2032-33.
Age for population, deaths and migrants: sinle years of age 89, 90+.
These files are generally available for each local authority District within one county on current boundaries, when ordered by one of the local authorities within the county. Order from popgroup@edgeanalytics.co.uk. Edge Analytics are providing these data to POPGROUP users on behalf of ONS.
All data are unrounded on every file, for development use in POPGROUP, but must not be released unless rounded to the nearest 100. Cautions, warnings and copyright stipulations supplied with the data must be respected by each user.
