This is a workshop for PhD supervisors who want to improve their supervision skills. It is based on the Academy of Social Sciences and ESRC Training Board sponsored course.
Delamont and Atkinson, authors of Supervising the PhD: A Guide to Success, draw their guidance to supervisions from two big ERSC-funded projects. The session covers the changing policy context, basic rules for success, and the getting of judgment.
