Workshop on "Appraising the quality of qualitative research"

The workshop will be run by:

Mary Dixon-Woods, Andrew Booth, David Jones, Tina Miller, Rachel Shaw, Jonathan Smith, Alex Sutton, Bridget Young

This will take the form of a workshop where participants are asked to read a qualitative paper and appraise it using one of three possible methods. In groups, participants will reach a consensus on the quality of the article and feed back in a plenary on issues of appraising quality. Possible ways forward for appraising qualitative research will be discussed.
