This session is now fully booked

Date:   Wednesday 19 th July

Venue: Room D, Bernard Sunley Building

Time:   9.15-12.45

Title: Using Graphical Chain Models, Random Effects Models and Structural Equation Models to Analyse Panel Data

Organiser: Peter Smith, University of Southampton

Aims of session: This session will describe, illustrate, compare and contrast the use of g raphical chain models, random effects models and structural equation models for the analysis of panel data.

Format: A sequence of presentations with each one building on the previous one, with opportunities for discussion between each

Level: The session is aimed at quantitative researchers who wish to become acquainted with the various approaches for modelling panel data. The session assumes familiarity with linear and logistic regression models.
