Beating the
PhD blues
Sara Delamont, University
of Cardiff
All PhD students hit rough
patches. This workshop focuses on diagnosing the causes of thesis
blues and suggesting positive action strategies to get over them.
It is based on 25 years experience of PhD supervision and also a
large amount of ESRC-funded research on the process of doing a PhD
and on doctoral supervision. The workshop is very practically-based.
