ESRC Research Methods FestivalThere is only a limited amount of parking at St Catherine's and we recomend that you come to the Festival by public transport. However, if you do need to travel by car, we give details below of the Park & Ride system which worked well for delegates in 2004.

PARKING Oxford is well-served by public transport and if you do need to travel by car, we recommend Oxford Park & Ride as an alternative to the city car parks, which are difficult and expensive. Peartree (to the north, off the A34), Redbridge (to the south, off the A4142) and Seacourt (to the west, off the A34) are all 24-hour pay and display, where you can buy two or more tickets and display them side by side. Water Eaton (to the north east, off the A4260) and Thornhill (to the east, off the A40) are both maximum 72-hour pay and display. If using Thornhill overnight, the newer part is more secure. Many delegates used Park & Ride in 2004 and reported that it worked very well.
