Dr. Jane Elliot, Research Director from the IOE will be giving a lunchtime session on cohort studies.

The British Birth Cohort Studies: A unique resource for researchers.

The work session will provide an introductory overview of the design and content of the British Birth Cohort Studies with a specific focus on the 1958 and 1970 cohorts that are managed by the Centre for Longitudinal Studies. The presentation will include discussion of some of the main research findings to emerge from the studies and the types of analysis that are facilitated by longitudinal data.
